Today is my 24th birthday. This is a slice of the cake my friend Kristen made me which was delicious. It has been a great day so far and getting together with friends later should be great as well. I cannot express how special I feel to have such lovely friends and family in my life. Cheers.

I’ve been quite tired lately. A lot of running and a lot of working. This work weekend I finally made it a point to do something fun so I went out for drinks with my friend Stefany. I ventured deep into SE which I haven’t in so long. It was a nice time. I was so glad to hang out with her as she is also altering my bridesmaid dress for the wedding I’ll be going back to MKE for late next month. Speaking of months though, I keep forgetting my birthday is next week. I won’t even be that old… How am I forgetting my birthday already?

Day off. I was so looking forward to this day. Minus a work meeting I have nothing planned. I strolled down to Barista for some coffee and I’m leaving the rest of the day open for food and relaxation. Steven is in San Francisco until next week so the house is a little quiet. I find myself talking the dog more… Probably more than what should be normally acceptable. Ha. I’ve got some around the house things to tackle but wine and movies are most definitely in order for my day seeing as it feels like winter again after that brief stint of warmth. More later.

This weekend was busy. The USBC was happening in Portland so there was coffee stuff everyday. It was pretty cool having so many people here from around the world. But I am beat. Work has been so busy. So. Busy. I got to take pictures of the ice cream again which is always fun. Pictures soon. Other than that we’ve had great weather here. 81 today and tomorrow.. A very nice treat. I just want to be outside all day. Steven cheered me up yesterday after work by grilling burgers. I’m so lucky.

Memorable meal today at Red Fox with Steven and my friend Brett. This was probably one of the best burgers ever. With bleu cheese. I recommend.

Afternoon cap. My after dinner one I did not take a picture of.
Anyway.
I’m sort of dreading going back to work tomorrow. It was nice having these two days off but I want more! I spent a good part of the day scootering around. We’re selling the scooter so I figured I’d enjoy the sun and my last few rides. Steven wants me to take the motorcycle class but I have to be honest… I’m a little scared. I’m sure it’ll be fun but its no scooter.
Other than that my days have been boring. I’m ready for a change. Something exciting. Or maybe just a vacation or drive out to the ocean. Time will tell.
